Severe Pain And Swelling In Place Of Hip And Thigh Joint. History Of Fall From Horse. Possible Fracture?

I flew off a horse today pretty fast into the dirt and landed on the socket that connects your hip and thigh. I felt immediate pain and swelling and by the hours, it seemed worse. I can walk, but with a limp. Im limited to certain motions so I am not sure if there is a fracture? Should I be getting this checked? It happen early this morning and I have been in best rest the rest of the day.

Welcome to Health care magic.Yes,it would be best to get X-rays of the Pelvis and the affected hip joint to rule out fractures.A consultation with your doctor /Orthopaedic Surgeon would help. Please do not use the injured limb till fractures are ruled out.
