Severe Pain Due To Non-displaced Fracture Of Knee Patella. Should I Consult A Orthopedist?
Back in 2010 I was diagnosed with non-displaced fracture of right knee patella The MRI stated that I have Myoid degeneration posterior aspect medial meniscus, my knee pain is getting worse and can take weeks , for the pain to get relieved does this mean its getting worse and I should consult a Orthopedic DR?
Meniscusinjury can be managed by arthroscopic repair, and same day you can go home. As per your symptoms you need to do physiotherapy and knee exercises to improve range of motion . If pain persist then you may need to do MRI again to see for any functional defect.
small meniscus tear can be managed conservatively with physiotherapy with USG andTENS.
