Severe Pain From Hip To Toe Due To Arthritis Along With Swelling In Foot
78year old father server pain from hip to toe.hosp.x-ray bad artharitis
1month ago. He can hardley walk and gose days without sleep. Cant even lay down now.pain is so server. Then had a test yesterday.also lots of swelling in foot.and now he has red lines that some seem to conect&stop and begian again

If there is so much pain and arthritis then your father might need a surgery. Best thing for him will be total hip replacement. I would not advice you before seeing his x ray though. if you want more advise then send his x ray and other reports to me through this forum. Till that time you should give him hot water fomentation and voletran gel local application and avoid squatting and cross leg sitting.
