Severe Pain In Head And Neck, Advil, Dizziness
head and neck ache during period emenates from the base of my skull up back of head down back of neck into shoulder 3 days advil only takes the edge off . dizzy with pain.

Hi,
Looks like atypical migraine or tension headache. Some women reported problem of neck and head pain during periods and the reasons are unknown. The treatment was supposedly a mild analgesic to reduce the pain and spasm.
I think it is good to get a thorough evaluation from a doctor / neurologist in your area. If Advil does not help it needs a better pain medication to control may be a sedative too.
