Severe Pain In Neck Side And Hurts While Tilting Head After Falling On Sheet Of Ice

I slipped on a sheet of ice yesterday morning and hit the right back side of my head. I felt fine until about 12 hours later then I started to feel a severe pain in the left side of my neck. It's hurts to tilt my head to the right or tilt it upwards. I just don't know if the pain is because of my fall or if it is something else?

Hi,

Pain is most probably due to fall. It resulted in spasm of neck muscle due to force. In these cases i usually advise to put a cervical collar for reduced neck movement and analgesics with muscle relaxant. Pain and spasm will go away in few days.
