Severe Pain In The Joints Of Thumb And Wrist. Difficult To Carry Things
I am working as an Office Secretarty I lifted very thick and heavy documents almost everyday when I am taking signitures from ny boss. I remember one time when I went on shopping while taking a cart the cover of the cart fell on my thumbs and it was so painful, I took ice cures for first aide. it got well. but latelyi feel pains from the joint of my thumbs till to my wrist , affecting to carry things.

1] You may have to give hot water fomentation 2-3 times a day for 5-10 minutes daily for a week.
2] You will need to give sufficient rest to the affected part.
3] Avoid exertion.
4] You may have to take some anti-inflammatory analgesics for a week.
5] To rule out the possibility of crack fracture a X-ray of the wrist & fingers may be taken.
6] Consider Carpel Tunnel Syndrome[ R S T.]
7] Physiotherapy will help.
