Severe Pain In The Lungs On Inhaling Post Excessive Vomiting. How Can I Relieve This?

Yesterday I threw up multiple times. Now today I have a horrible pain in my lungs whenever I inhale. I have tried taking a shower and inhaling the vapors, along with chamomile tea, inhaling the vapors as well. Those only gave me quick ten minute fixes then goes right back almost worse than before. What can I do to remove this pain?

General & Family Physician Dr. Ramesh M.Vachharajani's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that due to heavy and stranious vomiting multiple times might have given strain on your chest muscles giving rise to chest pain with some chest muscle movements.
Take some pain killers like Ibuprofen, paracetamol combination medicine for a day or two.
Ok and take care.
