Sharp Pain In Ankle After Getting Hurt, Unable To Put Weight. Does It Require Medical Assistance?

Hello I played cricket yesterday and I was bowling, I landed heavily on my foot but it didn't twist or roll over. But a sharp pain went through the inside of my ankle and now I am unable to put any weight through my ankle at all. I was wondering if what I have done is severe and requires medical assistance?

Hi.Thanks for writing on HCM.
Ankle joint is very stable and does not get easily injured.Since you have a sharp pain it might need a few weeks of rest (apply crepe bandage/rarely cast) and analgesics for pain relief.I suggest you to meet a bone specialist for further advice though it needs a conservative management.
