Sharp Pain In Upper Right Lung, It Hurts When Breathing Or Coughing, Had Pneumonia. Solution?

For four days I have had a sharp pain in my upper right lung area. It hurts when I breathe in, cough , or sneeze . sometimes it also hurts when I turn over on when sleeping. I have had pnemonia 3 times and the pain feels like that but it isnt as constant at least not yet. I have had a fever of 99.5, fatigue , tire easily.

Hi , as you have mentioned that you have three times pneumonia i think your complains are related to the complications of pneumonia!! which includes pleurisy and lung abscess.. As in your case it might be both , sharp pain might due to pleurisy which is inflammation of the pleura, the two thin linings between your lungs and your ribcage . Even Pleural effusion might be the cause.. kindly consult your doc regarding both the conditions pleurisy and abscess ...
