Hi My husband has had flu like symptoms about 2 mths ago he has a heart disease since then he has been getting short of breath, loss of appetite cramps like gas under his ribs he ran a fever of 102-103 when he had the flu and it lasted a week...I thought he may have gall stones...he took a laxative to clean himself out but it hasn't helped anything.he only has 25 % of his heart working could this be associated with his heart or what do you think

Hi, as he is post infarction, the dyspnoea, will be there, and he should have periodical checkups for maintenance.
Fever is entirely different thing, and it will have its course and cure.
Hi must be having gastric irritation as he is having loss of appitite. It also can cause breath less ness like symptoms.
I to my patients with such symptoms prescribe a combination of omeprazole and domperidone for cure of gastric part of the dyspnoea. Thank you.
