Should Amoxil Be Able To Cure Sore Throat With Swelling In The Back Of Mouth ?
i have a sore throat,there is swelling in the back of my mouth and it hurt to swallow.i had my tooth extracted a few days and have been on some medication including amoxil.shouldnt this have prevented this throat problem?

Most likely yes, but in your case I'll suggest Amoxicillin/clavulanic acid. It's a bit more power than usual Amoxil.
