Should I Be Concerned About A Bone Bruise Or Fracture If Having Pain, Pitted Edema In The Shin After Being Hit With A Ball?

Got hit in the shin bone with softball. There was a dent in leg and a knot on it last night. Pain was shooting up and down leg all night. Today, no ump, still painful all around area and pitted adema. Should I be concerned about a bone bruise or fracture?

Hi
If you have been hit by a soft ball then i think it is generally contusion only.
But still you need to get xray done to rule out fracture.
If x ray is normal you need to wear crepbandage and apply ice every two hours and keep the leg elevated.
