Should I Be Worried For Delayed Menses Post Unprotected Sex?

My last period started the 27th May, 2011 it ended on thursday 2nd June,2011 I also had a diflucan for a suspected yeast infection on the 2nd of June, 2011 ... I started the birth control pill Novynette on Friday 3rd June, 2011 , after my second day of the pill, Sunday 5th June, I had unprotected sex. I took Postinor 2 the next day Monday 6th June, 2011 at 2:15 PM and the next tablet at 6:15 AM on Tuesday 7th June, 2011, I have not gotten my period yet and it is Monday 27th June, 2011 ... Should I be worried?

Though you had unprotected sex, you have taken Postinor tablets well in time - 2 doses within 24 hours. Postinor is having good results. So the chances of getting pregnant are very low.

You have just completed one month. Wait for few more days to get menses. May be due to Postinor, menses might appear a little late.

If after 8-10 days, you do not get menses, please get urine pregnancy test and/or ultrasonography done for detection of pregnancy. These tests done earlier may not give reliable results.

If you happen to be pregnant, you may terminate it with the medicines up to 9 weeks of pregnancy. These medicines should be taken only with an Obstetrician's prescription and under his/her supervision lest the risk of incomplete abortion and/or infection.
