Should I Change The Dosage Of Quinidine Sulphate For Atrial Fibrillation To Prevent Monthly Recurrence?

I suffer from afib about once every month and a half, I always go back to normal rythum after I take 2 300 mg quinidine sulfate tablets then 4 hours later take 1 more pill, and in about an hour I convert back, would it be better to just take a 300 mg pill daily to prevent a fib from reacurring? this has been going on for about 35 years, I am now 71 years old and actively working, and otherwise healthy, thank you

Dear friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Never change a drug without the permission of your treating doctor.
All ant-arrhythmic drugs are also pro-arrhythmic

Good luck
Take care
Wishing all well
God bless
