Should I Consult A Urogynecology For Menopausal Dryness And Sexual Problems And Having A History Of Recurrent UTI S?
I have recurrent UTI s. I take the prescription for it, and promptly need to see the GYN due to yeast infection. Then the cycle starts again. Also seeing the GYN for post menopausal dryness and sexual problems. Would a doctor of urogynecology be a good step to take? Do I get a referral from one of my doctor s?
Hi, In case you are having recurrent UTI's, you should get yourself screened for Diabetes Mellitus by getting your fasting and random blood sugar levels. Also you should get your Urine Culture and Senstivity and then take antibiotics according to the organism isolated. Meanwhile take plenty of fluids.Cranberry juice or tablets also help. For your vaginal dryness you might require lubricant or estrogen gel.Hope it helps.
