Should I Continue To Take Aleve For Pain After Hip Replacement?

My left hip was replaced 10 years ago and is ddoing fine. My right has bothered me for about a year, and though Aleve, etc. help with the occasional pain worse than 1 or 2, I'm finnding I'm avoiding walking with friends and doing things Ienjoy to avoid the 5-6 occasional pain. (4x in past two month episodes.) Even then, with Aleve, I'm OK the next day after rest. One doc says replace, another says, I'm not at significant pain level. I go back and forth like a windshield wiper. What to do?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
All the pain killer medicines more or less have same mode of action if you are doing well with the medicine which you are taking and it suits you then I would advise you not to change it, but important is to tolerate the pain than to taking the medicine, and this would be best analgesic, have nice day.
