Should I Inform The Urologist That I Had Endometrial Biopsy Done For Abnormal Bleeding?
I had an endometrial biopsy last year for abnormal bleeding. I just had a CT uragram and the doctor said I have anterior thickening in the bladder. The urologist asked if I had blood in the urine and I said "no" but I forgot to mention the endometrial biopsy which was done due to abnormal bleeding. Should I call the urologist back with this information?
Hi there, Thank you for posting your question. I will do my best to help you
Blood in the urine and Abnormal vaginal bleeding have different pathological reasons which will lead to different diagnosis.
Past Info should be informed to treating Doctor irrespective of the Impact it may or may not have in conclusion of the diagnosis.
Blood in urine may be due to many causes like cystitis,Kidney infections,Kidney stones, urethritis,Bladder & Kidney malignancy.
Abnormal Bleeding may be due to many Endometrial pathologies.
My suggestion is that the urologist to be informed for further evaluation. I hope that I have answered your questions fully and been of some help. If you have anymore questions please contact me again anytime Regards, Dr.Sushma
