Should I Take Hormone Blockers For Mastectomy?

Hello. I decided on a mastectomy even though my tumor was very small and no lymph nodes were tested positive . Do I have to take hormone blockers. My onocologist says I do because I m estrogen positive . Since the tumor was so small and I had a mastectomy I don t think the side effects are worth it. Are there doctors who think the way I do?

Hello.Yes you should take hormontherapy for your breast cancer even when the tumor size its small.The fact that you have positive receptors it's god for you.Best wishes
