Should I Be Worried About Cold, Lightheadedness, Pain In Front Of Head And Shortness Of Breath?
I think I have a cold. I cough and I have a stuffy nose. What bothers me is that when I cough I get lightheaded and it hurts the left front of my head. Also I have shortness of breath when I walk for more than 30 seconds. Is there something seriously wrong with me?
As per your symptoms most likely you are suffering from respiratory tract infection involving nose and paranasal sinuses and also lungs. Involvement of frontal sinuses is giving you headache over fore head and shortness of breath is due to involvement of lung and stuffiness of nose.
To manage it you should do-
1- X-Ray of paranasal sinuses.
2- X-ray of chest.
3- Culture and sensitivity of phlegm.
4- E.C.G.
5- Blood - CBC, ESR, blood sugar (F & PP).
A thorough clinical examination and clinical co-relation with inferences of above investigations will disclose the facts about diagnosis which may be managed accordingly.
Regards.
