Should I Be Worried Of White Crust On Nipple After Recovering From Breast Cancer?
I am a breast cancer survivor for 8 yrs. Had a total right breast mastectomy. Now my left breast is very itchy and crusty no lumps that I can fell. But I think there must be some leak to form a white crust on the nipple. Sorry I thougt this was a free service.
Hi initially i would suggest you to use a moisturiser on the nipple.y A broad spectrum antibiotic ointment like mucoporin can also be used for few days. Most likely it can be a infection.A swab should be send for culture and microscopy to rule out the cause of infection. However a mammogram can be repeated for a clear picture.
