The symptoms of GERD itself could also be due to the symptomatic cholelithiasis which itself is an indication for surgery. Till then, you can go for an anti spasmodic, a proton pump inhibitor, and bland diet without any oil or fat. However, I would also advise you not to delay your surgery and consult a laparoscopic surgeon in your area.
