Hello friend,
Fever is an indication that something is wrong with him inside. His body is trying to save him from the present conditions by bringing in fever. Therefore you should not try to control the fever by giving Tylenol. When his conditions become better, automatically his fever also will get better.
Till his fever gets better, there will not have normal appetite and so you should not force him to eat. Give him plenty of fluids if he drinks or if there is no thirst, give him IV fluids.

If there is bloating in his abdomen, it is better not to feed him much.
Since he had multiple surgeries, and since he is having tarry diarrhoea, you have to admit him in ER and have his condition monitored till he is feeling better.

If you feel that his condition is not better by the present mode of treatment, my advice is to get Homoeopathic treatment for him. That will improve his immunity and will help him to get free from the present illness. For that approach an expert Homoeopathic practitioner at the earliest.
