Should I See A Specialist Doctor For Recurring Diverticulitis?

i usually just see a family doctor. I have had repeated bouts of diverticuilits which has ended me up in the ER. My doctor just keeps giving me antibiotics. Is there a specialist I should see? or something else that can be done? I'm tired of being in pain and afraid of perforation
