Six Weeks Pregnant. High Beta Level, No Heartbeat. Polyp In Gestational Sac. Bleeding. Taking Lovenox. Reason?
I am 6 weeks exactly. They did not see a heart beat but the yolk sac, etc seemed OK. Beta is very high, last one was 5w3d 0000. This was IVF with 2 transferred. There was a "polyp" appearing thing in the gestational sac. I had some light bleeding. No hematoma was found. I am on lovenox.
Should a heartbeat have been seen?
Is this beta OK for 5w3d?
Have you ever seen a polyp shaped thing taking up over half the inside of the gestational sac? What could it be?
Sometimes ultrasound may take one more week to detect the fetal heart beat. So better to do rescan after one week. The high beta HCG levels can be due to injection given during early weeks but the possibility of molar pregnancy has to be excluded here. In repeat scan can detect this possibility also. If your spotting ceases that is good, if not better to take progesterone supplementation to stop that.
