Small Child, Fluctuating Fever, Running Nose, Cough. Negative Strep Test. Treatment?
I have a 2 yr old that has had a fever from 99 to 102 for the pass 2 weeks and now her.noise is running, yellow stuff coming out her eyes with a cough . I took her to doctor when she was just running the fever and they said.she was in great health and chest sounding good. They did do a streep test which came negative. But now Eveything else has now came about. Any help?

if she is having all these problems then you can give her some antihistaminincs and zinc and vit c supplement
it will help a lot to curb this.antibiotics have no role.

As your child is having fever and cough, he should be given an antibiotic medicine.
Even if he has viral infection, there is no problem giving antibiotic because if it turned out be bacterial infection then there are all the chances of having pneumonia.
Consult your doctor and discuss about this.
Give him cough syrup as well.
Ok and bye.
