my daughter has come out with approx. 20 small clear fluid dots, mainly on her back, that are very itchy. They started coming up about 4 hours ago. She has had a cough, mainly in the mornings for approx. 2 weeks, and a bit of a runny nose/sneezing. I have given her zyrtec just now to try stop the itching. Should I get this checked out?
Hi.small clear fluid itchy spots on the back preceded by cough and sneezing are typical features of chickenpox. Chickpox is a viral infection also called varicella zoster.it ccurs mostly in children constitutional symptoms like.fever.cough and sneezing precedes typical rash containing vesicles .with a umblical center.it starts first in the back and spreads all over body.it subsides within one week. Treat the condition symptomatically.like cetrizine for itching.antibiotic to prevent from secondary infection.and calamine as a soothing agent.isolate the patient
