Something Stuck In Throat Seen In X-ray, But Not Found When Camera Inserted. What Could It Be ?

Hi, I feel like I have something in my throat. I went to doctor and had my X-ray, the X-ray showed a small thing in my throat so my doctor referred me to Ent. They inserted a camera in my throat from nose but found nothing but my X-ray shows something. I don't feel any pain while eating but I am coughing from 2-3 days now and it feels so annoying. My throat force me to cough and now from today I am having pain in my right shoulder as well.

With little information and as per the history you have given and the clinical findings you may be suffering with impaction of foreign body. you must get the barium swallow done to rule out FB. sometime one may miss the foreign body on direct laryngoscopy. and consult the gastroentrologist to do the scopy. pain in the shoulder is not a good sign .
I would suggest you to consult the Specialist if you don’t get relief as on examination the findings may be different and line of treatment may have to be changed. Please don’t hesitate to consult and ask for any more query. i will be pleased to answer.
