Sore Breasts Around Nipples. What Could Be This?

Hi i was wondering if some one could help with my problem...
I am a 31 year old and for the past month or more my breast have been quite sore even around my nipples ...I have be fixed i had the clamp put in about 6 years ago so i am curious to know why they are so sore all the time i know i couldnt be pregnant so what else could it be...I should also say that they are most sore when i do have my period but always sore all the time

Dear Ma'am,

Sorry to hear about your condition. From your symptoms it looks like you are suffering from fibroadenosis. This is a condition in which there is breast pain and soreness due to hormonal imbalance. There is increased pain just before the periods. You should get an ultrasound of the breasts done to rule it out and visit a breast surgeon.
This could also be due to pregnancy and there is no harm in ruling it out by doing a urine pregnancy test.
