Sore Throat, Mild Fever, Swollen Lymph Nodes Around Neck, Difficulty In Swallowing. Anything To Worry ?

I got a sore throat a few days ago, had mild fever, swollen lymph nodes around my neck (below jaws), and today start to experiencing difficulty swallowing food, drinking water, or even my saliva . Should I be concerned and make an appointment with my doctor? I don t have other symptoms other than very sore throat. I do not cough either. My wife and son have been cough still.

Hi.
Thanks for choosing HCM.
You seem to be having an Upper respiratory infection which needs to be assessed by a doctor to see if it needs antibiotics.
Till then, you please do a warm saline throat gargles, drink warm fluids, avoid spicy oily foods.
