Sore Throat, Pain While Swallowing, Nausea And Vomiting. Treatment?
Hi, I got sick at work with a sore throat, it has been 5 days and I feel like Im getting better but each night my throat starts to hurt more as it gets later. I think the pain is coming from my tonsil but am not sure.
I have pain when swallowing but have not presented a fever. I have had nausea and vomiting on two occasion and I am producing a lot of mucous in the back of my nose.
Hello
Thanks for the query. Pain while swallowing, nausea and weakness are usually seen in tonsillitis or pharyngitis. You need antibiotics and pain killer to get relieved. I suggest you to consult ENT specialist for further management. Till then you can continue paracetamol with antiseptic gargling.
Thank you
