Spotting After Bowel Movement. Negative Pregnancy Test. Ovulation Cramping?
hi there, I recently had some spotting after I had a BM and am a little concerned as this also happend last month.. both times It was following my run, and both times around the same time in my cycle about 4/5 days after my period ended.. I have read up on implantation bleeding and also took a pregnancy test which came to be negative. I also have slight cramping, is this ovulation cramping or something more? my periods are pretty heavy with some clotting and cramps have always been severe! I am just a little concerned as this is the second time it's happend. help please?
hi, thank you for the question. If your cramps and spotting are around 14 or 15th day of your cycle(count from day one of menstrual cycle) then possibly it could be due to ovulation. If all your symptoms are there only for one day in mid cycle it could be due to ovulation and you need not worry. If the spotting is persistent better you get evaluated by a gynaecologist.she will do an internal examination and if necessary a pelvic ultrasound. If problem is persistent you might have to take some progesterone containing medication or estrogen+ progesterone based on the findings on examination ,your age and your need for contraception.hope this answer is of some help to you.all the best
