Spotting After Sexual Intercourse Instead Of Normal Period. Am I Pregnant?
HI. I recently had sexual intercourse on 2/16 got my period 2/17 or the 18th not to sure. My period has been irregular for many years now so I never know exactly when it will come, I usually have it 6-7 days but I bled heavy the first 2days then after it got light and now its just spotting. I was wondering if it was possible I could be pregnant?

Dear customer,
The light spotting can sometimes be due to the implantation bleeding of pregnancy but not in all cases.
Since you are having irregular bleeding so the chances of hormonal imbalance or genital infection , uterine polyps, fibroids, etc may be there which may cause such symptoms.
You should have the serum hcg test done to rule out pregnancy and vaginal smear examination as well to know if there is any underlying pathology.
The treatment is according to the underlying cause.
thank you
