Spotting, Cramping, Breast Soreness, Lightheadedness. Recently Stopped BCP. Pregnancy Or Withdrawal Signs?

Hello, I stopped taking my birth control pills. I am a little late on my period. I had spotting (pink and reddish brown) when I whipped with toilet paper and cramping and sore breasts last week and a milky odorless discharge on Sunday. I'm also light headed and am more thirsty than usual. Is this all because I stopped taking the pill or could I be pregnant?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.

After stopping the birth control pills it will take some time for regularization of the periods. The spotting you are having could be due to withdrawal effect of the pills.
Vaginal discharge can be due to some infection. So better to rule out that possibility.
If you missed any pills in previous month, there is possibility of pregnancy.
So better to go for pregnancy test once.
