Spreading, Smooth Rash Or Hives All Over Body, Feverish, Dry Mouth, Pain In Joints. History Of Eating Shrimp. Suggest

Hello Doctor, I have a smooth rash or hives all over my body and it continues to spread. Have had it for going on seven days, am also feverish, drymouthed, and most of the joints of my body hurt incredibly bad. I ate a piece of shrimp last Friday, and that is the only thing different, except that I was out of town at the time at my sons home in another town..

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain in the joints and other symptoms that you are having could be caused by an allergic reaction or a generalized viral infection. Mostly such symptoms subside in a week with good supportive treatment.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
