Stabbing Pain In Crotch Area, Back Pain, Testicular Pain. Been On Vicodin. What Can I Do?

Hello. I'm a 16 sophomore male. Since last Saturday I've had a constant stabbing pain in my crotch area near the inseam where my leg meets my torso. I didn't do anything until Sunday I started getting back pain and it made it painful to walk. However, I took some ibuprofen, and the pain was soon gone and has not returned. I went and got a sports physical on Tuesday and my doctor told me she found no obvious abnormalities and no obvious hernia. She also didnt lean toward a kidney stone as I've had nothing wrong with my urine. She told me to watch it, but she thought it was just a nerve gone haywire. The pain hasn't really affected me from then on until today. It has been hurting me as soon as I woke up. Although, I got my wisdom teeth pulled today so I believe the vicodine I've been on has been masking it. At the moment it has warn off, and I can feel the pain its causing. Within the last hour or so, I started getting some pain in my left testicle and it feels as if I have a bubble of air in my intestine or whatever organ is near my left inseam. I dont have many options. I am very worried. I'm deathly afraid of taking another pain killer, falling asleep, and waking up and essentially losing a testicle or something to that affect. Please help me. My girlfriend and I are absolutely terrified. I can be reached at YYYY@YYYY

good day!

testicular pain could be a direct pain from the testes or radiated pain. the most common cause of radiated pain in the testis is due to a kidney or a ureteral stone. You might. need to do an ultrasound or a CT scan to rule this out.

direct testis pain may be due to orchitis, varicocoele ot hernia. again you might need to do a scrotal ultrasound to rule these out.

wish you the best
