Stiff In Mornings, Sharp Pain For Short Time When Standing. History Of Being Treated For PMR, Off Steroids. Help
I have been treated for PMR since March 2012 and am now off the steroids, however, I have noticed that I do still feel a little stiff in the mornings but am not sure whether this is just an age thing. However one thing that has happened is that when I stand up having been sitting for a while I get a sharp pain in my groin that only last for 15 seconds or so and goes away as soon as I have stretched out the area that is sore. Could this be linked to PMR, I did not have this symptom during the 16 months I have been on steriods ?
Hi, P.M.R. ( poly myalgia rheumatica ) so for you got the correct line of treatment, it is important whether you have stopped gradually or not. I to my patients with such symptoms prescribe neurotropic injections, for 10 consecutive days, and anti inflamatory drugs when ever necessory. Thank you.
