Stomach Pain, Diarrhea, Fever. Abdominal Pain While Passing Stool. Taking Ofloxacin With Metronidazole Will Help?

my daughter is 3 yr old suffering from stomah pain and diarrhoes since 3 days. she had even had fever which has not settled down. her diarrhoes went off without any medicine. but she still has abdominal pain on passing stool. she passes stool very frequently yesterday 8 times in a day. now i started with ofloxacin with metronidazole suspension 5ml twice. is it ok.

Hi,
it seems that your daughter is having acute Gastro-enteritis.
Continue with medicine you give.
Within a day or two she will starting improving.
Give her light diet like curd, rice, buttermilk.
Give her apple and lemon juice and electrolytes.
Give enough water to prevent dehydration.
Give antispasmodic syrup for pain in abdomen.
Ok and take care.
