Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been suffering from a pain in my upper stomach area witch feels like I have been punched and winded. I have been experiencing this for two weeks, any ideas?
Pain in upper stomach can be due to enormous reasons like Liver and gall bladder problems, pancreatic problems, Hyper acidity and even some times a heart attack presents with pain in uppar abdomen.
So to deal with your problem, we need more details like what other problems are you having, any pre-existing disease? What kind of pain it is? Its Burning, stabbing, Itching or what? Explain in your terms. Are you having some stomach upset associated?
Reply with this and to be sure get an ultrasound of your abdomen and take advise for your physician, as physical examination can tell the cause of pain.
Stay Healthy
