Stung By A Bee On Scalp Has Resulted In Little Ball Of Skin. Should Consult A Doctor?

My son got stung by a bee on his scalp while he was in a swimming pool 3 years ago in Lake George New York. He is now 11 years old. Nothing serious . swelling went away no fever no allergic reaction. Today he shows me what looks like a little ball of skin where he was stung. He said it doesnt hurt. Should I be alarmed or take him to see a doctor?this little ball of skin must of been small and grew bigger. It looks like a little mole only its not black its made up of skin.dead skin?idk . Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Greetings of the day

Going by the description it appears to be implanted dermoid cyst. There is no cause of worry. It requires surgical removal for cosmetic reasOn only, provided it's not growing.

Take routine appointment with your physician and
let him have a look for confirmation of diagnosis.

Do get back to me if you have any other complaints

Take care
