Sudden Sore Throat, Strep Negative. High Concentration Of Pseudomonas Seen. Any Antibiotic Suggestion ?
I went to the doctor last week for a really sore throat that had a very sudden onset. The strep test came back negative as did the culture for strep. Today I was called and told that there was a high concentration of pseudomonas and they recommended that I go on antibiotics. The doctor had left and the medical assistant said they would review it in the morning to determine what antibiotics. Ive read online and it seems like this is an odd diagnosis. I and 27 and in generally good health.
pseudomonas is bad infection and really take time to go away beta lectum antibiotics with aminoglycosides can use penicillines ceftazidime along with combination of amoxycycline clavinuric acid are the best choices
