Suffered A Miscarriage, Leg Pain, Dull Vaginal Pain. Ultrasound Shows Complete Miscarriage. Normal Symptoms?
I had a miscarriage at 21 weeks 4 days days ago. I released the fetus at home, went to er where I had a vaginal exam and ultrasound where it was determined that I had complete miscarriage and I was sent home 2 hours later. Now I m having leg pains near my vagina that is uncomfortable. And slight pain in my vagina. my doctor was out of town so I see her tomorrow is this normal,?
Hello
Thanks for the query.
Since it was a complete miscarriage, please do not worry.
The uterus contracts after any delivery or miscarriage, and that is often perceived as mild to moderate pains.
Also, leg cramps might be a sign of calcium of vitamin D deficiency
Please get yourself checked for the same
Vaginal pain is not common, however, you need not worry much, as mild discomfort might happen for a few days after a vaginal expulsion of the baby.
Please go for your check up tomorrow
Be reassured.
Before planning the next pregnancy, go for a thorough pre conceptional counselling to know the cause of your miscarriage.
All the best.
