Suffering From Acne. Applied Creams, Taking Dianette, Having Breakouts. Suggestions?

My daughter I 16 yrs old and is suffering from mild to moderate acne, mostly on her chin and forehead her cheeks are clear, she has had numerous creams and anticiotics which didn't seem to clear it, my g.p has prescribed her Dianette, she is into the first week of her second packet and is still having breakouts is this normal , or will this pill need to be taken longer to see any improvement ?

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Dianette is most important medicine for acne . No doubt its result are very good and it take sometime for successful treatment .
In my opinion consult a gynecologist and get in an ultrasound of both ovaries to rule out any cyst in the ovaries . As in this age group the most important cause of acne is cyst.
Diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound of both ovaries.
Till use acnex lotion locally . Avoid spivy , greasy , junk foods.
