Suffering From Cold. Taking Azitrol And Cepodem. Is This The Right Treatment?
I am suffering from cough for past 15 days. Took anitbiotics - first for 6 days 500mg Azithromycin followed by 5 days of 750MG (twice day) of anothjer anitbiotic. Still the cough is persisting. Saw doctor again yesterday with x-ray and blood report and he has prescribed 5 days of antibiotics - Azitrol 250mg + cepodem 200mg 2 times a day. Please advice.

It seems from the history that you are suffering from cold for which you are on treatment by two antibiotics. The treatment is right but you need to take antibiotic depending on the culture and sensitivity report. If the cough wont subside even following the second antibiotic also, then I advice you to undergo culture and sensitivity and change the antibiotics accordingly.
