If this medication is something that ends with-pril like captopril, enalapril, lisinopril, etc (Angitensinogen converting enzyme inhibitors), then I think that was the possible cause and you would continue to feel better. Also, you are already reporting some relief with the change and I will only suggest that you monitor a little longer before seeking further aggressive medical attention.
