Suffering From Crohn S Syndrome, Stomach Cramps, Lack Of Sleep. On Budez CR, Pentasa. What Is The Reason?
I'm 28 years old, suffering from chrons from past 6 years. Was on medication for the past 6years, with breaks in between. With 3 flareups and now the 4th time, i started Budez CR along with 2 pentasa tablets 500mg each, thrice a day on the advice of my doctor. I am getting stomach cramps and lacking sleep. Please help me.
Crohns disease can lead to bowels obstruction. Due to intestine inflammation it gets narrow so the stool can not pass freely. Quite often the last part of small intestine and the first part of large intestine are affected. Bowels obstruction gives cramps, diarrhea, bloated abdomen, nausea.
I suggest you to visit your gastroenterologist. Abdominal X-ray should be done and abdominal CT with oral contrast (enteroclysis) should be done. Surgical removal of affected part might be necessary.
Hope this will help. Regards.
