Suffering From Depression. What Kind Of Treatment Will Help?

My husband is experiencing depression I believe to be brought on by stress. It is getting progressively worse everyday and now includes paranoia, anger, violent outburst, no sleep, he doesn't eat much and cries alot. I have been on this site today and found an article on signs of paranoia and depression. It describes him perfectly. I also read another one that included side effects of quiting effexor. He did get worse with the paranoia and violent outburst after quiting this drug that he only took for a couple of months. What kind of treatment would you suggest for this?

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Depression is there , you know very well.
Than , why not try to remove the cause of depression.
If , that is not possible than consult a psychiatrist and get his opinion and complete treatment.
Good luck.
