Suffering From Ear Pain With Headache

Hi I m a 21 year old female without any chronic illness or acute illness . I have frequent earache like a pin pain and I usually have headache (at least once a week) for almost a year. My earache problem is getting worse. It just occurs a several times per hour. What s wrong with me?

1. Is your earache in both ears? If both ears are involved, it has to be a systemic cause. Have you had an ear examination?

2. Can you describe your headache in detail? Is it like Migraine?

3. Some reasons for your condition which you should rule out:

a. Tension or Cluster headaches.

b. Stress induced gastritis.

c. If your ear examination is normal, referred pain in the ear.

d. Vitamin deficiencies

e. Hormonal imbalance such as use of oral contraceptives or thyroid problems

f. Food intolerance and allergy

h. Eyesight problems and sinus problems

i. Cervical spine problems and neuralgias

j. Dehydration and electrolyte imbalance

k. Sleep disorders.
