Suffering From High Temperature Along With Joint Pains. Took Paracetamol 650 And Now Lymph Nodes Under Both The Ears Are Swollen. Reason?
After suffering high temperature (102 degrees) persistently for 3 days with severe joint pains in all parts of the body, now the temperature is under control. Paracetamol 650 was used every 8 hours to treat the fever 72 hours. Now I could see my lymho nodes under both the ears to be swollen. What could be the cause? How to treat?
You mentioned that you had fever, joint pains for 3 days and now lymph nodes under both ears. This can occur due to: 1. Streptococcal throat infection 2. Glandular fever The best course would to observe the lymph nodes over the next few days. In case they increase in size and become painful then further investigations is warranted. However, the lymph node should subside over the next few days.
I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.
Wishing you all the best.
