Acne or pimples are youth related problem and is not a disease per say. I can understand your concern of acne or pimples. You have not mentioned.
You can use crixan gel for topical application. There is no harm in using it. It contains clarithromycin gel in it which is a topical antibiotic gel and do not cause any side effects.
As a mainstay you need certain oral treatments depending on grade of acne. There are antibiotic treatment and treatment with isotretinoin which can be added up according to its severity. SO you can better consult a dermatologist and take proper treatment.
Take care.
