Suffering From Shingles, Spreading To Eyes, Having Vertigo. Will I Have Vision Loss? Should I Take MRI?
I am 56 years old and have shingles. It went into my left eye. I am being treated. My question is I fear of vision loss and nerve damage. I also have had vertigo on that same side. I worry that the left side of my brain and face and ear have been taking a toll over the past few years, and not sure if I need further testing, such as a scan or MRI . What do you think?
You need to be treated for the eye problems by a Opthalmologist ,the skin shingles can be treated by your own doctor with antiviral drugs.A ENT examination into the cause of vertigo would help.A neurological opinion may be sought after recovery from the shingles.
